A link appeared on the website that I was using (which is a legitimate beauty website) offering me a free sample for £3.99. I believed it was part of the website I was using.
An email arrived and I did not recognise the address. Went onto the website to cancel - within 10 minutes of accepting the offer, rang the telephone number (which just goes to voicemail). I received an email 3 days later to say the product had already been despatched. The £3.99 had been taken off my credit card within minutes of initially accepting the offer.
This is a scam. Do not accept delivery of the goods under any circumstances.
