Theft from my bank account by Alluredeadsea.com

I ordered 3 samples of skin care and it was confirmed that I would only have to pay £3.95 postage. I have just checked my bank account and they have stolen an amount of £97.95 without my authorisation.

I have reported this to my bank and they have confirmed that this company are scamming people and they are receiving lots of complaints. Avoid this company at all costs?

I would suggest you report them to the ombudsman and the police. Thousands of innocent people are having their monies stolen and we cannot allow them to get away with this crime.

I too have been scammed by the DEAD SEA Company. I received another unexpected parcel of 3 Face creams!!!!

Which I was not aware of that I had ordered. This made me then check my account. They had taken £97.95 out of my account that I was unaware of. I am MORTIFIED.

I have sent to emails to this company to inform them that I DO NOT want anymore of their products.

I have heard nothing as yet. So I have been to my bank and informed them of the situation so no further money will be obtained from this company.

Carylone B

that £8.90 was for postage

:upset The same thing has happenned to me, I thought I was paying for a free sample at £8.90 and then they took payments of £97.82 and £97.95 My credit card company are looking into this and have frozen the payments, I complained to the company and they reduced it to £56 each, I refused, They reduced my daughters to £47. What a rip off, They said they can only be returned if not open, how are we supposed to try them and what is the £8,90 for, i hope they are stopped.

Dead Sea Beauty KIt - Free Gift Review

I was offered this as a free gift so long as

I paid for the shipping....a month later I was charged 149.00 dollars to my credit card, not being able to get in touch with anyone...I called my credit card company and they cancelled my credit card. I suggest going to a store and buying a prepaid visa/mastercard pay for the shipping and let them try to charge the prepaid card...all they will get is 20 bucks or use up what remains on your prepaid credit card before they take it...bamm payback time!!!

You can return goods in England

I have done some digging here and as the company 'claim' to be uk, they were forced by the trading standards to have goods returned to an address in England.

The return address is United Kingdom:

DS Marketing Ltd.

C/O TFS

Pretorian Way

Glebe Farm Industrial Estate

Rugby

Warwickshire

CV21 1Rh

As per their amended terms and conditions which they are once again hiding and using the old return address to Israel. DO NOT post back to Israel, you cannot get proof of delivery to a PO Box no so they will have you. Inform your bank ASAP and they will stop payments. Good luck, we all need it.

Upset teacher and poorer.

As with everyone else I paid the postage for the 'trial'. Am now £87.00 poorer.

I am also very upset because I need every penny. Will send this article to the e mail address I have for the bloody Dead Sea kit people. They have wrecked my week. The kit is not worth £9.00 let alone £87.00.

Can't they be stopped. The original advert was on Facebook.

Do they have any responsibility for their adverts??? Am in tears as I write this.I think that people like this makes us so fed up that they do internet shopping a disservice.

The more people complain about these thieves, the more they will be renowned for their unscrupulous sales ethic. I nearly got caught out, saw it on facebook..

Advertising skin trials...FREE. Great i thought... until I saw the confirmation email that advises about the charge in very small writing hardly visible. I have had a long winded email argument with them as soon as i realised i cancelled, they still sent..

to wrong address as well... I am going to fight these criminals. If you paid on a credit card, contact them ... they can recall the fee.

I work for a large mail-order firm , so know this is absolutely possible. God luck... don’t be upset..

Just get yr money back. x

I too was caught out by Dead Sea Beauty Kit Free Trial Offer. They took over 210 Euro exactly 14 days after delivery of Kit and a Serum. I was distraught and spent ten days sending emails, researching this firm and looked up the internet and contacted the courier. The ASA ruled against them in UK for advertising Free Trial Offer at end of November 2012 yet they still had advert up in Jan 2013.

They offered me a refund of over half of the 210 Euro and I refused. I stated that under EU Law on advertising and the Consumer Associations in Ireland and UK they could not advertise a Free Trial and then request that you have to return items to Israel. How can one try creams for 14 days yet return them on time to Israel within the same period ...or 30 days. Israel of all countries!! Why the security alone would have the Bomb disposal team examining it.

They despatched goods from a warehouse in Rugby UK and by law one cannot send creams via Airmail to Israel by post and must use a courier which can cost over 100 Euro. I registered the package at a cost of 10 Euro back to Israel and wrote Gift on form. I got a Full Refund of 210 Euro to my credit card when I emailed them a copy of the Registered postal receipt.

The firm in Israel offer franchises worldwide and you can purchase the Creams at half the price in Holland and other EU countries. They even offer to design pots to suit each client. I learnt my lesson and would advise any consumer never to buy goods on the internet.

The same thing also happened to me. After complaining through email for over 2 weeks and threatening them that I will post a blog about how this company is a rip-off (which I still will), they have finally emailed me today that I will receive a full refund to my credit card.

We'll see if this is really true, they say it could take up to 3 business days for the credit to show up on my credit card. I'll keep you posted, but keep trying....

I'm in the same situation this has caused me so much stress, I'm so angry I would not normally fall for something like this, I saw the page pop up whilst on FB and you know the rest guys I fell for it, after glancing at the T&C I noticed the free trial was not "free" at all. I emailed them 20 mins after making the "trial " purchase demanding that it was cancelled as according to their T&C you can cancel as long as its made the same day, they completely ignored my email I only heard back from them to say that it had been dispatched, the very next day I contacted my bank who stopped my debit card. I've received yesterday their dodgy cream and today I've sent it to israel at a cost of £13.13 have sent tracking ID to them via email and now they want to sell me it at a discounted "price" so I do hope this stops them taking any money in the weeks to come.

Ripped off without my consent!

I contacted my bank today as my account balance was much lower than it should be and I was informed by them that I have been charged £97.95 by Dead Sea Beauty, a charge I did not authorize, and that this is meant to be a monthly payment! I am shocked that such a charge has been enacted without my consent or authorization!

In re-checking the order form for the sample kit I received from Dead Sea Beauty on Mar. 28th, I only just realized that below the details of the order itself that it says that I must send the sample kit back within two weeks, to avoid 'further billing.' It never says how much I would be billed, how often, or when and there was no mention of such an arrangement when I ordered the sample kit! If I was aware that I’d need to send the kit back, I wouldn’t have known where to send it anyway, as it arrived in a plain package with no address. Though it may be beside the point that I am not a person of means, rest assured that in any event, I would not have ordered this sample kit if I'd known up front that afterwards, I would be at this company’s mercy as they plundered my bank account without my consent!

In actual fact, I was not at all impressed with these products, as I developed some scaling on my skin after trying them for a couple of days, so I had to stop using them! If you think about it, sending a sample kit back to whoever you purchased it from doesn't even make sense anyway, as it’s as good as admitting the products don’t work! I tried to ring Dead Sea Beauty several times today, on a number the bank gave me, which they could, apparently, see on the details of Dead Sea’s impending rip off on Apr 27th, but their line goes dead after it asks who you want to speak to, without offering you any options (i.e. as companies do - offer options and tell you which numbers to press for each) answer anyway, as you don’t have anyone’s name!

I contacted Maximiles, who this offer came to me through via one of their regular e-mails by phone to inform them of the unfair way I have been treated by Dead Sea Beauty, in that my bank account is being tapped without my consent, and the fact that the aptly named ‘Dead’ sea have a dead phone line instead of customer service as any reputable company would. Their answer? ‘We don’t know anything about the companies themselves, we just deal with marketing people.’ My bank told me the funds for Deep Sea Beauty’s ‘first payment’ of £97.95 have not actually come out of my account yet, but will do on April 27th, at which time I need to ring them and ask them to help me again, and, hopefully, get the funds back! I consider this whole business to be not just inconvenient but illegal.

Surely there must be something consumers can do to stop such shysters in their tracks and make them refund those they have shamelessly misled and subsequently, ripped off. I noticed someone else in London posted something to this site a few hours ago about Dead Sea Beauty ripping them off as well, and there were other complaints from Canada and elsewhere too, before my malarkey started today, so I also intend to follow up by contacting Watchdog TV and whatever consumer advocates or bureaus I can locate here. In looking at the complaints about this company ripping off customers here, I’ve also noted that one woman who was charged for a second 'beauty' pack without her consent finally managed to track Dead Sea Beauty down and get a response, after trying various e-mail addresses. She was told that the products must be returned unopened and unused within 30 days, which goes against what you’re told after the fact about being able to try the sample kit, then send it back and stop further deliveries.

How can you try a product without using it???? I will post any outcome of anything here as I continue to pursue this, and on other consumer sites, like Martin’s Money Saving Expert, as I’m pretty sure I first discovered Maximiles who offered me this ‘deal’ through that site. I also need to add here that I received no warning whatsoever, i.e.

the aforementioned 'billing' was not accompanied by a 'bill.' The saga continues…Please don’t allow this nightmare company to mislead you!!!!

The goods never came from the Israel address. You cannot return the goods to Israel as DS Marketing are asking for a tracking number.

You cannot get a tracking for a PO Box number in Israel as it is prohibited. I called the courier company DPD, stating DS Marketing address in the UK (mentioned on other emails). Because I mentioned the address they kindly picked up the creams and returned the goods to Rugby as this is where they were delivered from!!!! I'm still getting hassled every day saying I've should have sent them to Israel.

They ignore my direct questions and have said "send the goods there at your own peril"!!!!! You would never hear a company with good work ethics say this. I have cancelled my credit card but ideally want them to stop hassling me!! We'll get there in the end.

My husband said to ignore their emails but as I'm a considerate law abiding person I keep replying with the same information!!! Would you ignore?

Amylah Idc

You should complain to Advertising Standards Authority as they are still in breach of an upheld complaint: Ref A12-20**** of 28th November 2012. Complain as well to Citizens Advice bureau on 08454 04****, to Action fraud on 0300 123 **** and your local Trading Standards Office.

The more people who file a complaint against DS Marketing the more likely that something will be done. The goods supplied are in breach of the Cosmetic Products (Safety Regulations 2008 as they do not have an ingredients list on the jars or a use by date.

Money Scam - DO NOT buy the Free sample!!!

Here is the info about this terrible company .

Thought everyone needs to know this

I am contacting the trading standards

hank you for your email.

I was told my account was on hold therefore unusual to receive any more products and I did say I did not want any more products from you.

I discovered that my situation is not unique and that numerous other consumers are complaining about exactly the same sales methods. I have attached one example below.

Therefore

I am returning the package to you using DPD who delivered the package to me using your account details

I will retain a return receipt to prove return of the parcel.

The parcel is opened BUT the cosmetic packaging is unopened.

I will expect a refund within 30 days as per consumer legislation.

I have investigated my bank account and note that 2 payments were taken from my account on 4th and 6th March 2013. I will ensure that these payments are cancelled.

I thought I was going to have to pay out the £97.00 to these thieving B******s, I did receive a reply to one of my many emails I sent them.

The reply I received was basically saying if I wasn't happy then return the beauty kit which should be done within 30 days un-used and un-opened and not damaged, but I was to write my details on the outside AND inside the box!! The address I was given to return the kit was the one in Israel!! They wanted a photo of the receipt etc, the cost of this was £70.00 (found this out on the post office website)with no guarantee of a safe delivery. I thought NO WAY!

When I looked at my delivered kit I notice the account senders number printed on the address label,by the courier they use.

Ha! I rang the courier giving the account number to ask for the address of the sender as I needed to return the parcel.

The courier told me who the sender is T.F.S.

Unit 16, Aventine Way,Rugby, CV21 1PH. They are in Leicestershire, and arranged to collect the parcel with NO COST to me and return it back.

If you are unfortunate to have one of these kit delivered either refuse it or ring the courier give the senders account number and the courier will collect and return it for free.

My bank has advised me that if I do not have the goods then I will receive a refund providing I have proof of returns receipt which I have kept in a safe place!

Yours

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

The reason we sent this second recurring shipment is that we have no correspondence on record, indicating that you did not wish to be sent further products by us.

We state in our terms and conditions that refill kits/ COLLAGENTA serums might be sent to customers, at different intervals, unless we have express confirmation that the respective customer does not wish to receive further product from us.

You are, nonetheless, well within your right to return the kit for a full refund, if you wish.

To save you time and hassle, and as a gesture, I can offer to let you keep the Collagenta serum for only **GBP 34.95** and REFUND the rest of the charge to your account.

If you choose to return the product instead, please send it here:

With regards to the AutoRefill program, it is designed with your convenience in mind, whereas we send can you replenishment products at a certain rate. We offer you a wide range of AutoRefill choices to best suit your lifestyle and needs: we can send you replenishment products monthly (which is the default option), every 6 weeks, every 2 months or even every 3 months. If you want to return this product I found the telephone number and name of a manager at their shipment office in Rugby contact Mr Richard Pye on 0178854****. If he trys to fob you of with this fake number 0203642****, don't accept, hassle the life out of him and he will get the Deadsea rip off merchants to contact you.

To receive a free gift only have to pay for the shipping a total scam

Receive the Beauty Kit quick delivery then charge the 5.95 for shipping which agreed too. Next thing in a month charge 129.95 on my credit card this is false advertising small print somewhere?

Had to contact my bank and they assisted me with the problem and I got a new credit card # I will never purchase on line again or give my credit card out was good lesson. Do not trust this company (very dishonest!) this just popped up when I was viewing Rogers false advertising.

I did send the product back still were not going to give me a refund then I found that they had me set up that they would withdraw amt of 129.95 /month seem to be done automatically charge to my credit card. Very bad people making money by being very dishonest.

Latest con from Rip Off Dead Sea products.

Dear Rip Off Dead Sea products.Today even though I did not ask for these products to be delivered to me.they arrived by post. I have followed your returns procedure at my owncost to return them to you.

(Please see attached postal receipt)I did last month on the 22nd March 2013 Cancel any so called account I had with you. YOU did acknowledged this by reply email. So I am confused as to why you think I would want to deal with you again after yourdisgraceful way you dealt with my account last month. and conned me (as you have thousands of other people) out of our very hard earned money or benefit. You replied that my account was closed.

So to my surprise, I have found out and my bank has confirmed that you are actually trying to access my account again on the 19th April, that was 6 days before the above said cosmetics arrived???. I have now closed this account and will be moving banks so you cannot get to my money anymore. This to me and all the other people out there that have been duped by you. Proves the disgraceful lowest level you will scoop to, to con people out of there money. What I cannot understand is why we have to incur the cost to send parcels back to Israel when you clearly have a depot in England.DS Marketing Ltd.C/O TFSPretorian WayGlebe Farm Industrial EstateRugbyWarwickshireCV21 1Rh Just to make sure to you of your returns procedure I have copied them on here for you so you can now closed my account fully. If you choose to return the product instead, please send it here before the end of the trial period.Dead Sea Beauty Kitc/o Paloma Dead Sea, Ltd.PO Box 5381Caesarea 30889IsraelYour name, address and email must be clearly written on the return package, both inside and out. Please, also note that we definitely need a proof of postage which could be in the form of a tracking ID or a picture of a paid postage receipt in order to verify your return. If you you are sure about returning the product, I would ask you to send us an appropriate proof as soon as you have posted it back, so that you will avoid any further charges, once the 14 days have expired.

I sent the creams back to Rugby using the account number on the label stuck to the creams. DPD said if you confirm the address in Rugby they will pick up the goods at no cost and return.

I done this and now I'm getting emails daily saying "what did you do that for?" and "send at your own peril". 25 emails have gone back and forth to the company and when emailed the receipt they said I had sent to Leicester and that their old office is in Rugby. I'm getting a fed up with their emails but will always reply by saying "I've sent the creams back to the place where they were delivered from". DS Marketing won't give up and say they will keep my account open!!!!

Thieves that's all I say.

You would have thought I would be bored of my replies but they keep coming back with an excuse. If a courier comes to my door again I will say return to sender and will not sign for the parcel.

We need to sue them; the more of us that do that the better. Their company is full of holes; we just need to find them.

I've found a few aleady. Get in touch with Trading Standards, and the Citizens Advice Bereau can also help.

I'm just about to do that. :grin

ordered a sample kit and got it but was charged 5.95 and 3.99 on May 22/14. I received the sample kit.

Then, on June 14, was charged on my card the amount of $149.94

I have waited and waited and still have not received the order...I did not authorize the order but like the cream very much and want what I have paid for. If I do not receive my order, I will have to go to the Better Business Bureau in Thunder Bay and report this problem. I do not want to do this.. Please send me the cream that I have paid $149.94 for and this issue will be resolved. Thank you...

Jane Roy, 779 Hodder Ave,. Thunder Bay, Ontario P7A1W3 Canada..... telephone no. 1=807-693-****. I am waiting for my order...

Dead Sea Beauty Kit Products/luxedeadsea_CAD800899****

I ordered the free trial and was charged (C$5.95 +$3.99 for S&H-May 19,2013)and I received the Dead Sea Collagenta beauty kit May 24,2013.There was no mention of needing to return the product within 14 days or be charged. I DID NOT use the KIT right away since I felt the offer was too good to be true. My instincts were right that I waited the following month's credit card billing statement and I found out I was billed (C$149.95 on June 13, 2013)that's where I checked out reviews on the net.I learned terrible experiences of the people who had been scammed by this company so I tried calling the luxedeadsea_800899**** (that was posted on my credit card details thinking that’s the 1-800#-I spoke to a female customer agent and told her my complaints that Im not happy about the over charges on handling/shipping last May 19.2013 considering its a FREE TRIAL...WHAT MORE IS THE JUNE 13.2013 billing charges for the whole beauty kit of (C$149.95.The phone line reception sounded garbled and very poor reception until was cut off before our conversation was over. I tried calling back but cant go through anymore. So I carefully reviewed back all the details on the packing slip that really seemed so dubious. The shipper/exporter was from DS MARKETING C/O:PRECISION and the on the bottom page it says: RF Pathways Warehouse Management System. I tried searching contact details for these companies it looks like they got so many partners from the beauty company down to the shipper and warehouse company. But the key thing was I learned that the credit card billing details:luxedeadsea_CAD800899**** was the another company affiliated of www.deadseakit.com in charge for billing clients credit card.Canada details below:

Apparently, deadseakit.com had so many partners operating dubiously. Based on my experience as well as the rest of those many complaints received in your site (past to present). Its like a modus operandi to confuse people who believed and put up their good Faith trying the product. What is disheartening is how would a potential client know who their DEALING with until we are victimized? and many more scams??? I am sure that will affect the company's public image and sad to say will destroy their credibility loosing PUBLIC TRUST. I would definitely request my BANK to close my existing credit card and issue me a new card to AVOID being charge horrendously by dubious and fraudulent companies like the companies mentioned above. May this be a learning EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE!!!

Returned the Kit

Hope this helps.

I will think about it, i received an email from DeadSea, they said -

Packages returned to an address other than the one below shall not be processed and refunds shall not be issued.

If you are firm in returning products, the ONLY address where you have to send them is:

Dead Sea Beauty Kit

c/o Paloma Dead Sea, Ltd.

PO Box 5381

Caesarea 30889

Israel

I closed my account and opened a new one, i've got a new debit card. The only money i've lost is postage costs. "Return or do not return" - ?????????

Kane Ljy

Your more than welcome Romy, pleased the information helped.

I've just tracked the parcel on DPD tracking site and saw my parcel has been accepted and signed for...Hey Hey Hey! Just need to keep an eye on my bank account now.

Can you believe people can be so, so,....I can't even describe them!

I thought I was getting a free sample which would have saved me some pennies, as I've recently been made redundant. Good Luck.

Kane Ljy

Hi Christy, the number I used for DPD is 0845 300****.

I asked for the senders address using the account number, as I needed to return a parcel.

DPD said they would arrange a collection from my home and return the parcel to the sender.

I believe DPD are aware of the scam from the company, (Dead Sea Beauty Kits). Good Luck

Dead Sea Kit Fraud trishanne88@***.com

Updated by user Jun 27, 2013

I have issued a small claim against DS marketing Ltd and they have refunded my £97.95.

Updated by user Jun 18, 2013

The Advertising Standards Authority have upheld 7 complaints about DS Marketing in 2013.

I am not claiming the Lands End site is faulty ,just that DS Marketing are using trusted websites to scam people.

There are 848 complaints about them on scambook.com

Original review Jun 15, 2013

I was on the Lands End site and a survey popped up saying if I answered a few questions about Lands End I was entitled to a free gift.I filled in the survey and a pop up offered me a free dead sea kit for only £3.95.P and P.

I applied for the kit and 3 weeks later DS MarketingLtd 788-790 Finchley Rd NW11 7TJ had debited £97.95 from my account. I was totally shocked as I was not aware it was a 14 day trial.

Their factory and customer support line are based in Israel and they have refused to give me a refund .I have informed the police and the ASA and action fraud.police.uk.

I have sent the used products back to the London address ,and had found the products to be poor for £98.

I have started proceedings against them in the small claims court,in W London .

If anyone who has also been scammed would like to attend court with me as a witness ,they are welcome and could then take action themselves.Trish .

Dead Sea Rip-Off

I answered a pop up advert on Facebook from this company they were looking for women to use their products and review them...I filled in a forms asking age, skin type, etc..then then congratulated me as I had been chosen as one of the 7 women to test their product...they showed various creams and I had to tick which I would review...they said they were free but I had to pay £3.95 postage... I then in good faith gave my debit card details..the product arrived in a bubble wrap envelope, with no packaging, advice note, nothing !outside the envelope said it had come from Israel but no address.I noted that the £3.95 had come out of my account March 3rd.

then on Monday 8th April I noticed that they had taken £97.95 out of my account. I have been to my bank TSB explained everything to them but they refuse to take my money back as I gave them my card details even though the fraud department admitted that they know about this Scam, they also cannot guarantee me that further payments would not be taken out of my account.I have cancelled that card.

I have trawled the internet and found many people have been duped with this..one person gave an email address so I emailed them explained I signed up to test and review their products not to buy a beauty kit...I threatened to take legal action not only against them but facebook and Amazon who also run this scam..I have had a reply offering me £30.00 refund if I agree (in writing) to 1.

not take any further action against them and 2. Do not dispute payments taken from my account with my bank.(further payments) I told them to get lost I want full repayment also I have sent products to Yardley Laboratories for testing to see what's actually in them as they have to stoop so low to sell them.
